Herd Sires

Truck

This is our lead herd sire TRUCK. Just like the name conjures up images of, stout made, wide based, heavy duty kind of a buck, and just dripping with hard muscle. All with a cat like soundness and a extremely tight hide. When he was born I knew we had finally made a herd sire that will take our program to the next level. His daddy didn't look like much being a bottle baby we picked up for almost nothing. We used him on a few ( not near enough ) does just to breed in the tight hide but the extreme muscle was a big bonus. Trucks Sire is a Raff I Don't Know son. Dam is one of our favorite does Cheerleader. She is old school CBC over a BDF Power Source dam ( ABGA #10537251-Birth Date: 08/15/2010)

Stud fees $500 live cover and $1,200 flush fee.

Mr. Reese

Mr. Reese has added ultra tight hides, perfect hip loin junctures and extremely large butts in his offspring. His kids are late in their maturity, meaning they get better everyday you got them on feed. We used him on our best wether making does this last summer. Unfortunately we lost him late last fall but retain most all of his sisters and plan to sell only a couple of his top daughters.

Turbulence

This double bred Twister ( 4 x Raff animal ) buck comes to us from Zane Willard. His kids are impeccable in their structural correctness and design. This gives them the perfect look for the show ring that many animals can't compete with. Turbulence kids are also late in their maturity giving them a long show career. We've use him on many types and kind of females here at KWH and have not been disappointed in any of the results. The wethers are good but the females he has sired are WAY GOOD!!!

We were able to buy "Notcho" from Greg Patterson and Alvin Tingle in 2009. Putting him right to work as our main herd sire for our 2010 kids. We're very excited with the wether crop we have on the ground.

Lewis Creek Sting (10367359)
Birth Date:
1/6/2007

Lewis Creek Sting is the young buck that we will be using to add rack shape and overall muscle mass to our herd. Everyone that sees him is amazed at how much dense, hard muscle is packed on his frame. Sting has done very well in the show ring. He won Overall Grand Champion at the IN State Fair and the Iowa Meat Goat Association shows. He has accumulated over 70 ABGA Ennoblement points this Summer.  He is owned by Lewis Creek Boer Goats.
